Power Word: Shield mod - help

Hi all, I'm new here and ofc I have a question (I hope it's an easy one):
Basing on which event / function I can check if I have been hit while having my Power Word: Shield casted and how many dmg I have received?

It's rather ingenious how they do it if I read it right. (Backstory: When an entire hit is absorbed, the servers do not send out how much was absorbed, or at least not in any way retrievable by us. The only time when the UI reveals how much was absorbed is on partial absorbs which are not useful alone.)

What that mod seems to do is track all damaging effects to the user, and remembers how much those effects did. So that when they are later shielded, when it sees that effect absorbed it will use that saved amount to estimate how much of PW:S was chipped off.

Rezzing this old post

I tried using CT_ShieldMod, but for some reason the data isn't reporting properly.

"Damage Left" is always at zero.

I tried some suggestions by users over at Curse, to no avail.

Can anyone else verify that CT_ShieldMod is/is not working with WoW 1.6.1?

Thanks
