Flexbar pop-par

Im trying to make a vertical pop-bar using 2 groups with flexbar, so far i have:
/flexbar show group=43 on="MouseEnterGroup" target=37
/flexbar hide group=43 on="MouseExitGroup" target=37
however i cant get the bar to stay hiddin, all that flexbar recognizes is the command to show the group '43'.. any ideas?

i only post after 3 hours of experimentation, and searching random forums on the topic. thats how i came to get this script. also the flexbar site that was referred to in another post on the forum has been deleted.
