Alright, I think I'm going to step in before people turn this into a rather heated argument. So I'm going to follow Dawn's suggestion above. However I really liked how the glossy unit frames turned out, so I'm going to keep that idea in the freezer and use it in another UI after I'm finished with this one. Okay? Everyone happy?

@Ferous: I think the gradients at the bottom of your UI should be shadowed too. So that they fit(they kinda are like flat now while the rest of your UI is all shadowed).

Taryble's Newest UI - Designed while playing an Enhancement Shammy, but set up to be great on my DPS/Tank Paladin and my DPS/Healing Priest (yes, I think about DPS/Tanking/Healing when I design a UI for myself ).



Addons:
MiksScrollingBattleText, Quartz 3, StUF, Chinchilla Minimap, Satrina Buff Frames, Autobar, kgPanels, Chatter, TotemTimers, TipTac, MonkeyQuest, Dominos

Also, all data texts and non-actionbar icons are LDB addons, using the "Fortress" LDB Display.

Main font: "Champagne & Limousines", from dafont.

Main bar texture: fer09, from Ferous' texture pack. (LOVE this texture, Ferous!)

EDIT: Eek! I need to fix my sig! Transferred/factionswapped shammy, forgot to fix sig here on WoWI!
EDIT 2: Re-upped the image to Photobucket to make sure it stayed the proper resolution, changed link to proper-resolution image.

No offense, but the unit frames hurt my eyes.

None taken. StUF is kind of a pain to show off unless you're in a group - everything ends up with your class/power color, and everything shows, like the castable debuff icons, etc.

I'll try to get a real in-group shot when I remember to.

EDIT: Hmmm, that's odd. It's saying the original size is 1155x722, but I know I uploaded it as 1680x1050.
EDIT2: Fixed image. Stupid Photobucket.

IMO, the minimap has far too much gloss and the line coming out above it is a tad long.

I thought the same thing about the unit frames on your UI as well. You are correct though.

It's not a castbar, it's a buff timer.

And about the actual UI, the minimap graphic looks kinda randomly thrown in there.

Basically oUF_viv and oUF noVeL mashed up. With some serious SBF mayhem.

Woops, your right, still I think it's not fitting The minimap is fitting IMO.

I'm working on a layout (oUF...) just for PvP (arena and battlegrounds). It contains a whitelist for buffs/debuffs that only shows PvP relevant buffs/debuffs. It also has built-in arena frames (they look exactly like the party/raid frames on the left), which can serve as an alternative to Gladius.



note: group frames look like that for up to 15player groups. Larger groups get different frames (most likely the same layout I'm using for oUF_viv).
