Death Glow

I dont know how to put this, but the glow looting effect...I remember seeing a different one a while back. Is there a way i can change the loot glow effect to something else?

Not anymore, there used to be files you could drop in your "World of Warcraft" folder that would change the looting sparkles to the animation for Hunter's Mark, Renew, Dampen Magic etc, but Blizzard fixed the ability to change models quite a few patches ago.

Well I tried something and i can still change the cursor from the normal armored hand to the undead hand.

Would not that mean the death glow can be changed too?

Does anyone still have those files, id like to give it a try.

Changing the cursor is related to hardware/UI, not the 3-d game-world.
