Carbonite mini map

Before carbonite 3.1; when i press "m" twice, the map that shows up, goes to the very right of the bottom in a mini shape. Which i set this up before, i minimized this map into the right. But now when i press m the normal carbonite map shows , another m shuts down the map not minimize it the right bottom side i set up before. İn order to to this i have to click little "C" every time.
How do i fix this?

open up the map

right click on map and click on options

make sure Map is selected in the page listing down the left side of the options window

make sure the option "Hide maximized map when ESC or map toggle(M) key is pressed" is not checked
that is the 5th option down on my screen.
