I tried gray scale Grid, couldn't do it--drove me nuts.

I'm happy now.

This is the final setup and it worked beautifully raiding DS last night.

AH--stupid wMarker is up again.

I'll try to get it up tomorrow--

It's really nothing more than a remake of my old UI.

http://www.wowinterface.com/download...7-CalaiUI.html

Unfortunately that UI had A LOT of work. I had (5) 85's and was able to build the UI for just about every class.

This one I probably won't do as much, so I could put it up as an "Alpha" or something and let folks tinker with it.

It is made for 2560x1600 so there would need to be some work if you have a smaller resolution.

Edit--it's up LOL.

After creeping and lurking this thread for ages, I have finally found enough courage to post my UI.

Solo I would love to get my hands on a spiffier looking quest tracker.

Raid I have yet to figure how to scale down the digits on the Horde and Alliance emblems as well as have XPBarNone display reputation.

Combat And now I notice my player cast bar isn't aligned right. Hyuk ;-;

Many thanks to Zagrei, Led, Nef, and all the other awesome UI makers. You guys have really inspired me.

Any and all suggestions are appreciated!

I like it! It makes me wonder, though: what resolution/screen size are you using? When i used my 13.3" screen with its low res, I used small pixel fonts absolutely EVERYWHERE. Now that I have a 21" monitor, however, I had to scale things up a bunch to avoid eye strain. Kinda makes me curious as to what you're using

On another note, how well do those thin raidframes work for healing? It seems like they would be a bit too thin to be practical, but that may just be me.

Never really thought I would see this, to be honest Thanks to you, too!

Aw shucks. Thank ya!

I'm currently sitting at 1920 x 1080 reso on a 23.6" monitor. I used to be an avid 17" laptop user for a good chunk of my WoW years but upgraded to this bad boy ~6 months ago. Quite honestly the size of the pixel fonts don't bother me at all but then again, I'm wearing glasses 24/7 ;>

I find them to work just fine - excellent even. As long as I get the gist of how much health is lost at a certain rate then I'm good to go. That may not be the case with many people but it seems to float my boat. Not to mention I have worked with small frames for such a long time that I feel a bit off if they're not that size, hyuk.

B'aw. You're very welcome.

Fantastic. One of few good UIs I've seen in a long time. I personally think TukUI edits slaughtered the UI scene.

I like the old ones more. They're cleaner, I feel.

B'aw, thank you so much. Just hearing that makes me so giddy.
But yuh, I wish there were more UIs out there being shown off but it has been quiet as of late. :<

It's not more information, it's the same information displayed in another, more cluttered way. The timers for minute-based buffs take up more space and catch your eye more than the shorter duration buffs, something you want to avoid since longer-duration buffs are usually more trivial.

It's been fairly dead since WotLK. That was the primetime.

Wimpface, I love you. Just thought I would throw that out there.

Annnnyways.

I've been flip-flopping between doing a non-pixel font UI with Neal's borders, and remaking my ole' Epiphany frames with bright ass colors.

My DK tank just hit 85 last night, and after running a heroic or two I noticed that I need to make it better >->

B-but pixel fonts and eye scorching colors are so pretty.

I would love to see what you churn out though with the non-pixel font UI. :>

I love you too! I think you should go for pixelfonts, I've never been a big fan of Neal's borders. He makes it work like a champ in his UI, and there are other good uses for them, but more often than not they turn out like dogcrap.

Pixelfonts and bright colors are always good!

I feel as if I'm a hypocrite, I sit here judging the UI scene when I'm not even using my own unitframes. Bah.

That's what I'm probably gonna end up doing xD It's my comfort zone.

Yeaaaa, and I'm guilty as charged on that too. I was using Duffs edit of TukUI for a long time because I was completely drained of any ideas or inspiration :/

I have inspiration, I lack motivation and time. I could probably find time for it, but there's no motivation for re-prioritizing either. ;p

Heh, I'm not going to have time for anything but school pretty soon Dx

And now to start working on my new UI..

(Psst, does anyone remember how to add the pixel fonts and spacing to Phanx Chat? I can't find it anywhere! Dx)

Mmm, yes?

Though, the hardest thing with my 'layered' UFs is deciding if I should line things up with the entire length of the frame, or just the HP bar, etc.

It wouldn't hurt to try out aligning the timers to the entire frame to see how it pans out but I do enjoy their current positioning - by that I mean they look amazing.
