Defend Yourself clone?

Hi all. Does anyone know if there is a working addon that is similar to Defend Yourself?

What function of DefendYourself are you looking for? Most of it's features are impossible now after 2.0

I just want to automatically attack the next mob when the one I am fighting is dead, without having to right click it or press 1. I can't count the number of times I've looted the corpse when trying to right click the next mob, or when I've toggle combat OFF instead of on by hitting 1.

Mods cannot select targets for you and when you do select a target (or they attack you) abilities (including auto-attack) require a hardware event. These were changed to prevent botting.

Thanks... that does make sense, and I'm glad, since people who bot should be shot, and anything that hinders that is a good thing.

on the other hand there has to be some kind of solution. Maybe a macro to replace the attack key that will always turn attack on.

Use Tab to target and then hit your attack button if you're having a hard time with right click.

Having a mod like that would leave it too open for people to attack stuff and walk away.

Alternatively I have set my 'G' key for that instead of tab just because it works out better for me. Use the key you like best and is easiest to reach and you wont even need that addon. I had it once when it was still legal and never did really find it too helpful.
