Here is my current WiP, which was originally FujiUI (awesome UI, by the way!). I have changed it up quite a bit, and I'm not done yet

not much has changed.. small stuff..

playing with dbm a little again. had solid bars before.. was trying it with only spark as "timer indicator" but don't think it will work that well in the heat of battle! , though it looked ok :P

any suggestions on improvements?

I love the layout, Zagrei - it's the sort of UI where you can look in one part of the screen to get nearly all the information you need at any given moment.

Great stuff nin, as expected! Improvements? Well, you got me there. What bag mod are you using, though?

Edit: Actually there is one thing I would personally remove, which is the black fade around the edges of the screen. It takes away some screen space and makes the screen feel darker without any real purpose, imo.

Worked on my UI a bit some more. ended up shifting my power auras down to the lower portion and moved the minimap to the upper left.

Still not quite happy with raid tank frames but I'm sure I'll figure something out eventually.

stuffing is what i use for bags.. a bit butchered with code and textures!

and yeah i usually don't play with it.. it was activade during ss .. i sometimes enable/disable all addons when sorting some stuff :P

Man Landrell, I really liked the previous UI you were working on and was looking foward to what you can do with it :O

edit - pauen, your Chat font kills me inside a little :O Not that courier new is a bad font, its just not matching with the rest of your UI and courier new font seems to match really old 1980 kind of things.

lol Meant towards your UI critique, I hate how people don't consider your judgement or constructive criticism and state, "You can change the font yourself, this is how you do it ....." instead of saying "Yeah, I have it for this reason, and that reason, and thank you for your criticism!"

I just saw a post earlier in the thread, someone stating something about something... And they shunned it.

I decided I needed to get rid of my Big Block UI.

This was inspired by a very very BLUE UI by MidgetMage and also by Limb0's suggestions as to textures. ;-) I decided I preferred aqua for this setup, however. *grin*

Comments and CONSTRUCTIVE Criticism desired.

And yes, I had to emphasise constructive - the only criticism I got on my last UI was "It's ugly. Nothing works. Throw it out and start over. Scratch that. Just stop doing UI's". No, that wasn't done by anybody on this site.

Also, anybody know a site that'll let me host 1.5MB PNG images without resizing or other retardedness? Photobucket doesn't like them.

As for a suggestion (possibly) im not sure what unit frames you are using but if the option exists try adjusting the offset of the text shadow. Some of the more bold fonts tend to look a little odd with it.

The power bars for the party frames are thinner on the top set. I would also make the panels on either side slightly further apart so your font doesn't overlap and you can center the map more accurately (its about 1 pixel too low).

On the positive side the texture looks awesome in aqua. =) I tried it for giggles on Limb0's suggestion but it didn't quite do it for me. I like the layout as well. Simple and direct.

Eww, colours in a UI.

Other than that, this UI seems very well put together. The layout is very nice and streamlined, except I dunno what those buffs are doing floating about with no real alignment to anything (at the top of the screen). Your quest tracker's also out of place.

It looks like your right action bar is a bit off. It looks like it's crowding your party frames a little bit. Also, (and this is pure personal preference) I'd do away with the shadow on all your text. I've never been a fan of font shadowing. I think it just looks sloppy. The unshadow'd text on your damage meter looks much nicer and cleaner than that in your fubar, unit frames, and chat window.

Excellent updates, you've fixed a lot of the minor issues. I still think that the chat tabs stand out too much, though. It's mainly because of the shadow. I personally use one chat tab for everything (except combat text, of course, since I use SCT+SCT_D).

Yeah, for some reason Fane handles font flags strangely, which is why it is so dark :P If you don't like 'em, you could either change the flags, or just turn Fane off :P (Not trying sound all stuck-up, or anything =P)
