No skill description on action bars

As the title says, the tooltip that I get when I hover my mouse over a skill on one of my action bar is missing a lot from it. It only contains the name of the skill, no description of it, and some statistics from Dr.Damage(range of damage / crit damage, average, and damage per threat / mana / energy), which are incorrect.
How do I fix this?

go into your wow "interface" options and find the box that says something like detailed loot info and put a check in it

btw i think its located under the advanced settings tab
