Well I have given up on trying to figure out lua and the beautycase thing....but I need some opinions.

Which border setup top or bottom? ( i am leaning at the bottom one with the double border on mana bar)

I really like it because you can do just about whatever you want to damn near anything. And I am still trying to get lua figured out. I would like to use ouf one day, but for now its stuf.

Thanks! Considering it's a minimal UI, then it is intended to be... well, minimal. :P I know what you mean about being small, I was playing around with using larger frames for a while, but in the end I thought this was sufficient.

I like this a lot, but there's something about it which seems a bit confusing. There's a lot of translucent backgrounds, especially with the unit frames (the nameplates are just crazy too) and it just seems a bit... I... dunno. :/ It's like the backgrounds are there not doing much at all. But nice idea with that transparent battleground map, though.

Bottom one, definitely. A nice border texture like that deserves to be spread out across both bars.

You could add it via kgpanels. You just have to use a script that does basically the same what beautycase does.

Okay, sorry for continuing the off-topic, but maybe I'm missing what Beautycase actually does. I'm assuming it automatically adds borders to addons?

I don't mean to answer for nin, but I think that the minimap is a pretty good size considering the size of the rest of the elements. Also, looking over the screenshot a second time, I would say that the glow overlay on the item icons should be turned into a border colouring - the flat colour overlaying makes the icons look worn out. But I also really like the castbars, even though they seem to cover up the middle of the screen a bit.

Love to see an explanation of everything as just looking at it I can't tell what's HP or MP. Castbars or Buff icons and so on

minimap is normal sized i reckon. i don't have much use of it tbh. and making it smaller doesn't feel needed atm.

have in mind it's more of a draft what im posting usually. a lot of things are just idea's and things im trying out if i like or not.. im changing things constantly

nameplates i decided too try that look only too kind of match a theme or something. i didn't end up using that layout. because it looked cleaner without the panel around the name(s).

im fine with the overlay on bag's atm. does what i want atm. i sometimes turn off the overlay over the whole icon and sometimes don't . haven't decided yet what i prefer.

the castbar doesnt take that much space imo. and as a healer and endless different layout of castbar's this is the one that actullay brings me most attention in game.. it's very easy too spot when your target is casting even if you are focusing on raidframes for healing.

Not bad, never seen the point in those faded portraits and the power bar thing seems a bit strange, too, but I guess it's a nice stylistic feature. The rest is pretty clean, I guess. But you really should set your screenshot quality to 10.

Really love your UI nin. Looks gorgeous. And the way you implemented the zonemap for bgs is really neat.

Small thing though; you should add black borders to items in your bags that are common quality (and perhaps grey for junk). It looks a bit unfinished right now.
