Can't remember which but it was 1.11 or 1.12 that killed discord...really sucked too...my ui was sweet. I woulda been proud to post it up somewhere but after all the stuff went screwy and i just couldn't hack it with tryin to make my own i resorted in using others...Mazzle is workin fine atm and pooh is up there too

I wouldn't go that far, but there hasn't been an update to Discord by Loz in almost a year. Did anyone really believe Discord wasn't dead? I know he said he was working on it, and I know there was a really early limited release of DUB, but come on.

Gypsy is dead too, for those still holding onto the dream.

Typical. People like this are exactly why most authors realize it's not worth their time to maintain add-ons. I don't blame Loz one bit for going and finding a better use for his time.

In case people had forgotten, let me remind you that slander isn't welcome on this site. Let me also remind you that responding in kind to someone else is equally unwelcome. If you want to flame and bad mouth go do it somewhere else, goodness knows there are enough sites that pander to that sort of behaviour. This isn't one of them.

For most add-ons, that logic may hold. And if he were just updating his add-ons for the 2.0 changes, it might also hold. But, from what I read, he was trying to do something that was very ambitious. Rewriting from scratch all of the core add-ons that compose a UI in one consolidated framework with the same level of in-game "customizability" as the old Discord add-ons is no small task. There are several reasons why nothing like that has come out in the in the past 3 years from him or any other author. Chief among them is that it would be a real PITA to do well and would take a lot of time. I can see why people found it plausible that he would still be working on it.

Unfortunately, has anyone actually looked at the dates of when these were last updated? I wouldn't count on any of the Discord mods from this point forward. It's dead; known it for a long while even when others were in denial. People need to start replacing it and move on.

Eris plans on keep updating them. Look at DUF, it's pretty much ready for 2.2, and the other ones work fine so they don't need to be updated.
