Addon to skin buffs

Just wondering, what do you guys use to skin your Aura icons? I'm thinking something lightweight as i know about addons such as SBF but that is fairly bulky.

Well I think that depends. If you are using oUF frames them it can be done with a very small footprint. My personal favorite buff addon to this day is guSmallBuffs. Check it out!

A quick search for Buff under addons gives a list of ones that can skinn/move the standard UI buff frame or replace it, some that might intrest you are: CBuff, sBuff, Buffy and not to sure if this one still works: BuffSkin.
Ohh and SatrinaBuffFrames doesnt skin the buffs, it supports ButtonFacade which reskins buffs/bars that support it.

Furbish by haste also skins the default buffs/debuffs

Yes, sBuff is nice for you. I'm using SBF, but I am don't looking on the memory usage.

If you just want to skin the default buffs with ButtonFacade, that's exactly what BlizzFacade does. Otherwise, there are a number of small <something>Buff addons that reskin or replace the default buffs.
