BC Beta Invites Question?

Not a big deal, but how often do you send the beta applications to Blizzard? I only uploaded mine yesterday so I'm not expecting it terribly soon. Just kinda wondered.

Woot, I got my invite today and was pleasantly suprised to get a download speed of over 900kb/sec. Then there were about 5 updates to apply after the install.

PS. Cairenn, thank you so much for getting us into the beta. I spent a few hours checking out the new content and now its time to get all my addons working (I really feel handicapped without them, lol).

OMG OMG OMG!

Checked my mail this morning and I got myself a key!!!

I had taken it upon myself to email Blizz and ask about the key since it was obviously a fubar on their end. So I'm not sure if it was me, Cairenn, or both that did it.

My first taste of TBC was impressive. I'm on the PVP (Blade's Edge ?) server if anyone wants to hookup. They forced me to change my toons name for some unknown reason so look for Blackspiralz.

Why do I have to rename the character that I am moving to the beta test realm? We are requiring a character name change in order to allow those developers with known characters to remain anonymous on the test realms.

I have ID number 504 EU key.. havent had any luck yet. Just wondering if anyone else in the EU with the same number range had anything yet ?

Lets hope so Or later today, US Got their key at around 16:00 - 18:00 their time according to all the current posts. (well some did)

For those of you still waiting for keys, the PTRs are up now and you can work on you add-ons there. It should be the exact same environment.

Frankly, it seems a little weird to me that they would do this big key giveaway here and then open up the PTR servers almost immediately afterwards, which are equally good for mod authors to test on. Then again, I suppose the queues will be lower on th BC servers, so that is a significant advantage.

By the way, even when you do get your keys, expect to wait a few days to get your character transferred over. I think the transfers are being performed in the same queue as the PTR ones. I'm on day two and my characters are still not moved. About a week ago, I heard that the transfers were nearly instant.
