New to FuBar

I recently canned Titan for Fubar and am loving it so far. However I have one issue, I also play WoW on my MacBook and can't seem to get Fubar to work. I can download the files, mods, etc. but can't seem to get Fubar to launch.

Anyone running into the same issue??

I don't have that particular problem. For me Fubar 2.0 basically destroyed one of my favorite addons. Even the developer's own addons for Fubar haven't been updated. The frames of other mods are no longer adjusted properly when you enable Fubar.

Fubar 2.0 is basically two empty bars that overlap all of my other UI features. A bit depressing since I used to rely on it quite a bit. I wonder if Titan Panel is still around and supported.

Sounds like you are missing fubarcompat 1.2... You see, that's a compatibility plugin to make them work with the newest version.

Destinatus, check your install path.

yutt, can you be a bit more specific? I'm running FuBar 2.0 just fine. WITH FuBar 1.2 plug-ins.

Sorry, was mostly just venting. I suppose I could try to be coherent and informative now.

The issue with older Fubar plugins isn't that I can't get them to appear on the bar. I have no desire to deal with the myriad of problems that arise when you start using out of date addons. I'd rather just use addons actively supported and fixed. I realize this probably makes me sound like a prick.

As for the actual bug;

The only thing that changes at all are my buffs. Maybe I am not understanding something, but the old Fubar "just worked".

Edit: I've kind of derailed the thread, sorry.

Yeah, I'd always thought Fubar used to adjust frames automatically. There is a check box that implies as much. I suppose I can move everything manually.

It's part of the new download. It's not like it's any big deal. Put it in the folder the same as you put the new FuBar in, and it'll take care of the problem until the plug-in authors get their stuff updated.

And it's still moving everything automatically for me ...

The author HAS made it backward compatible, it's unreasonable of you to blame him if you don't want to use the module that allows it.

Fubar adjusts your bars when all plugins don't fit on that bar. It will then try to create a new bar.

Fubar

I will try the fubarcompat and see if that solves the issue. If not, I will post a screenshot.

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

Ah, I wasn't blaming him. He's made an amazing addon and is receiving nothing in return.

Everything has been updated now though, so I have nothing to complain about.
