Chat Area Askew

My Chat box area is askew the General tab and the Combat Log have become separated and when im in a city and someone is making something White Script covers the Chat area and the Chat cannot be read.

Is there an addon that will correct this annoyance?

Sounds like an unfiltered combat log is undocked. Try clicking and dragging the combat log tab towards general tab until a line shows up, then let go, if problems still persists, try clicking general tab again after combat log is docked.

Thanks but i tried that and they were like magnets of the same polarity pushing against one another.

In either the chat settings or the Interface Options panel, there is a setting called "Simple Chat" (iirc). Checking this will return your chat frames, locked I believe, to their default position. Unchecking it again will allow you to move them around again like you used to.
