Clad, is there any way to avoid having to reload a profile for a character (like if I want to copy a profile from another character so that I don't have to redo the bindings?) so that it loads automatically and I don't have to set it each time I log in?

Is it not saving that setting automatically for you?

If you set profile to another characters profile, it should stick 100%.

I am currently using perl and ag_UF for my unit frames and I want click casting to work just on ag_UF. I've tried unclicking all the Perl options in the options tab but I still get click casting on the perl frames.

Also when I try to create a new Profile I get an error in CliqueOptions.lua line 1478 attempt to index a nil value.

This version only works with the expansion, as the note at the top states.

I'm testing this on the beta server's. After updating Perl Unit Frames again it seemed to have fixed the clicking error. However the profile error is still present.

Clique and controlling mage summoned water elemental

Thanks for the great add-on, I have a druid, this will be an excellent
and obvious tool for healing.

My main is a frost mage, I'm having some trouble figuring out how to
assign certain control actions to the mage's summoned water elemental.
This pet is on a 3 minute cooldown, and is only up for 45 seconds. Makes
debugging a bit difficult.

I'm primarily interested in setting up the following bindings:

Left Mouse Button ^ PetActionButton5
Right Mouse Button ^ PetActionButton4
Mouse Button 4 ^ PetActionButton3
Mouse Button 5 ^ PetActionButton1

Could you please describe how I go about setting this up with clique?

1. Open the Spellbook
2. Open the Clique UI
3. Click "Custom"
4. Select "Pet Action"
5. For action, put the number of the pet action button (i.e. 1 is the leftmost button)
6. Set a click binding by clicking on the button
7. Select an icon
8. Profit!

Ok, I did precisely this, in the sequence you suggest. The interface
works as I would expect it to. I end up with 2 new clique bindings:

<ICON0> Pet Action 5 LeftButton
<ICON1> Pet Action 4 RightButton

Which seems sensible, but it does not function. When I summon
the water elemental, using the left mouse button does not activate
"Pet Action 5" (ranged frost nova). Likewise, when I use the right
mouse button with the water elemental out, it does not activate
"Pet Action 4" (water elemental frost bolt).

The only thing I see missing during my set up, is a unit assignment.
Is that necessary?

No, you're doing it right. I'll ahve to find a mage, to see what the issue is. I know it works for my hunter and warlock, but I'll test again.

EDIT: I just tested on my mage, and this worked without any issues. To be clear, are you clicking on unit frames, or are you trying to click in the 3-D world? Clique is designed to use unit frames, so it will only work there for now.

Clique 2.1.1 has been released which adds the following features:

* Fixed icon issues, all non-set icons should now properly use the question mark
* Added custom radio buttons, courtesy Beladona
* The MacroText edit box is now a true multi line edit box. You should be able to use multiple line macros without any issues (they would fail before)
* I added a "Unit Menu" action under the custom edit screen. This should allow you to rebind the pop up menus if you want to re-bind right click. This works by calling the Frame.menu function(), which has to exist.

Cladhaire, any chance to bring back the "When clicking a dead target"-choice back from previous Clique? It made mass-rezzing after a wipe or fighting Vael so much easier. It should work with WoW 2.0.1 as you're only able to rezz when out of combat (where most new restrictions don't apply).

Question binding with [target=mouseover]

Hey I'm having trouble trying to make my click bindings do a "true" mouseover macro.

for example, my abolish poison macro is bound to shift-V, i can see someone glowing green run past me and use the binding clicking over their body and remove the poison. Same for my lifebloom macro ( /Cast [Target=Mouseover]Lifebloom(Rank 1)) which is set for button 8. i can simply mouse over a PERSON running on my screen, doesnt have to be their box, and it will lifebloom them. But when I set it up to work with clique, even putting in the macro or using the action button, it will not cast while mousing over their character, only if i mouse over a box.

Is there any way to make the mouseover macro work with clique while mousing over the character on your screen? (It is the latest version)

and btw, INCREDIBLE mod, TY! (even if i cant figure out the mouseover thing lol =P)

EDIT:| So I just was reading through and found this:
No, because the way Blizzard captures mouse-clicks is entirely different from the way macros and keybinds works. What you want can't be done without a custom keybinding and plain Blizzard macro.
So I'm assuming thats the same thing I'm trying to do? I'm not too familiar with script/coding/etc, I use bongos and the keybindings dont allow clicks, only buttons. Is there any addon that exists that would allow us to use a shift-click to cast on a "true" mouseover?

No, this cannot be done. Consider the fact that Left click and Right click already ahve meaning when used in the 3-d world. In particular you can target units or change your facing or camera angle. You cannot add what you're asking without completely breaking that functionality.
