Chat Frame Issues

Hey folks, wondering if I could get a little help here. I have been having a chat frame issue for awhile now, it has lasted over several patches. My chat frame always starts out with a beige background. Now I can change it to black but it is a pain every time I log in or switch toons. Any one have any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help with this.

Does the problem persist when you disable all of your AddOns, and if not, what AddOns do you have installed?

It could also be that your Chat-cache.txt file is corrupted or write-protected. Open the character folder in your WTF folder for Raidic (or any other character affected by this) and right-click the file to see if it is marked as "read only". If not, then delete the file when completely exited out of the game. You'll have to redo your chat settings, but it will be a fresh file instead of a (maybe) corrupted one.
