Quest locations

Was able to remove this in the past and it doesn't seem to be a problem on all my chars, but some in particular have the locations of every quest in the game popping up on the map, makes navigating cities kind of a bear.

Any help?

Click the yellow button on the quest watcher. If it looks like the button here you shouldn't see any quest giver locations.
