Addon Manager (Great new idea)

I think there should be an addon, that manages addon's in-game.

like the blizzard addon-manager with the check boxes to enable or disable the addon. i want something where i can do that in-game, through the addon settings panel.

There was a couple of others also, but their names escape me.

thanks guys =P

is that in game though?
(id try it but on not currently on my home computer.)

haha.. and at least i know i had a good idea then =D

and another addon suggestion. something along the lines of "piggy bank"
an auto looter that doesnt just loot everything.. it only loots copper, silver, and gold. that way you dont have to waste that 2 seconds looting copper off every npc you kill.

The first one shows an option in the screenshot to loot based on item value. I would think if you checked off the box to enable that setting, then set the value to zero, you would only loot the money on a mob.

Question for you though. Why would you only want to loot the money? The items are free money also

Using the first addon in conjuction with the built in Autoloot feature of WoW, I think you could probably accomplish what you want. Be able to selectively loot items based on a pricing scale you set, Auto loot turned on through the Blizz settings to get you the money. Profit

LoadIt

The addon manager I use is LoadIt. Does what you are lookin for, and with the click of a button reloads UI and addons.

I'd recomend addon control panel which allows you to set up essentially 10 different profile settings for loading your addons. For instance in raiding I don't need to run carbonite/lightheaded/a few other addons, so I have a profile set up for raiding and when it comes time to raid I select it and reload my ui and I am set to jet.

Ahh I havent used ampere tbh, I just stumbled into addon control panel really when I was looking for an addon manager that had profile settings. I love addon control panel so I will stick with that.

Ampere does not allow for profiles, I don't think... At least it didn't the last time I used it.

I don't think it did, but it was so simple and fit my needs perfectly (loading and unloading of addons quick and easy in game, nothing less, nothing more, iirc).

Ampere doesn't have profiles - but it affects WoW's per-character information on what addons are loaded. So if you're like me, and the only "profiles" you use for addons are character (or class) specific, ampere works as well as anything else.

Just to be concise, the default UI handles addons on a per character basis, too.
