Error when trying to load icecrown map

I get the following error when Carbonite tries to load the Icecrown Map:

Carbonite-3.001\Carbonite.lua:14249: attempt to call global 'GetMapVehicleTexture' (a nil value)
Carbonite-3.001\Carbonite.lua:2943: in function <Interface\AddOns\Carbonite\Carbonite.lua:2902>

I believe it has something to do with loading the texture for the flying vehicle/quest hubs for Alliance and Horde.

Thanks and hope this helps.

I'm seeing the Getmapvehicletexture error all over as well - so much so the interface suggests i disable addons.

I just verified that any zone with battlefield vehicles will cause the error. I'm in Ulduar and it has vehicles, so that is what the Ulduar map bug was. Haavok is currently adding Ulduar to the zone table and fixing Naxx location. I will be putting Ulduar in the other map tables and doing more testing.

Having a cold/headache is slowing me down, but I'm hoping to have Carbonite 3.1 out tonight.

I dont know if you considered it, but Icecrown, Argent Tournament, Storm Peaks, Sholazar gave me the same problems as soon as I used either a plane, a bird from a quest, a horse, or did some BG.

Seems that it is not only vehicule like char.

The Skybreaker and the horde one give the error too.

----

On another side, I noticed that the icons for gathering, are like floating above the map and if you are moving, they follow you but the map below is not moving, so you end up with the icones above the water or the snow ....

Exclamation Map Woes

Hiya, I would like to add to the carbonite map woes, quest tracking gets messed up any time you mount up it seems and sometimes without mounting up in icecrown, I was trying to move location to location using the carbonite map and quest zones are not displayed properly, they seem to get lost, or even transposed from other zones you have moved through onto random spots on the map.

Also importing mining or herbalism nodes seems to not show anything on the map and I am getting the same oddball washed out greyish white circles on my main screen as well after closing the large carbonite map.

That is all I have so far.

Kliebor!

Are you getting the GetMapVehicleTexture error in all those cases? If so, then the function name fix will fix all the problems. When a lua error happens, the game disables the code causing the error, which means in a map update error, you will see all manner of drawing problems with the map happen from a single lua error.

I am having the same error message about a vehicle texture error. The error message pops up and is so bad i have to disable all addons in order to be able to exit game and disable carbonite.

Carb 3.1 is released, which fixes vehicle texture, arrow and several other problems.

still having map problems

I have never had Carbonite before so this is a fresh install.

I am having the same problems as described in this thread with the newest version of this addon.

I am using the US/English version that I got just last night 10 hours ago.

Same error on the vehicle and same problems with the icons (as I move the mab around the Icons seem to stay in the same position on the screen, not moving with the map).

I have heard this is a good addon but its unusable in this condition

Any ideas?

3.1 was already released and I'm 99.999% sure the vehicle texture bug is fixed, since it involved renaming a single function call.

My guess is you have 3.001. Install 3.1 and check the Carb minimap button tooltip and verify it says 3.1.
