Carbonite 4.011 will not install

I have been tring to reinstall this addon for a few days now. Everytime I do, it never updates in my character select screen "addons" tab. it says Carbonite 3.3, but i know that It has the 4.011 version installed. When i log in It gives this error:

Have you tried deleting the old Carbonite files from your interface/addons folder and then installing the latest version?

Sometimes this works better than trying to update.

Always delete the old Carbonite folders first. I have seen files not be overwritten using Windows unzipper for no apparent reason. It happens.
