Request some help updating outdated mod

Hey guys

Can you please help me (and others who loved this mod at its time) updating it?
I do not know anything about scripts and stuff but i think it is fairly simple mod. Please if someone capable feels bored or something just take a look at it. I will be really thankful.

If it can be of any help i should say it worked without errors all the way until the Cata release

What happens when you mouseover the target with it running in it's current state ?

Do you get any errors ? If so what are they ? If not see above.

Have you searched to see if other addons exist that do something similar ?

Sorry about that lol i guess i should start with whats wrong.
When i have it enabled i can not log in the game - i get instant DC. But i tried today with only this addon enabled and i had no problem logging and also it worked fine. Some guildmate told me to delete catche and repair the game and now its working and i am geting no lua errors. Sorry about trobling you guys anyway. By the way i found similar addon named MTlove 2 if someone needs it.

Cool, glad to hear you got it working. I had looked at the code and couldn't see jumping out at me as being affected by cata changes.

The only thing I noticed is the slew of getglobal() calls. But that function hasn't been deleted from the game yet.

The C functions were removed, but for backwards compatibility, Blizzard added in Lua versions of the same functions that set and retrieve values from _G
