Get a learnable items status

Basically I am wondering if there is some way to get whether or not an item is already known from the loot window. I'm wanting to incorporate auto clicking of need if the profession item is not known already. If there is no way to determine without winning the item and then getting container info then I suppose I'll have to just alter the code to not auto click when a profession item comes up.

I'm just guessing, but I think you'll have to resort to tooltip scanning for that.
