help with a mac macro

i need help. i downloaded titan and it comes up on my desktop as a zip? what do i do. someone said i need to expand it. how do i expand it? please someone reply yo post or msn message me at [email protected].

p.s is it the new patch do i have to update titan or something?

you have to get a zipping program. try google

I know some good windows ones include Winzip and Winrar, but for some reason I doubt either of those works on a mac

Since WoW requires Mac OS X 10.3... we can assume you already have an app that can unarchive zip files (because zip/unzip is built into the Finder UI on 10.3). See the zip file on your desktop? Just double-click it.

You'll end up with a folder on your desktop... depending on how the mod author set up their zip file, it'll either be just the main folder of the addon -- which you can drag straight into your World of Warcraft/Interface/AddOns folder -- or it'll mimic some part of the Interface/AddOns hierarchy, in which case you'll need to dig down into its AddOns folder and drag whatever's inside to your World of Warcraft/Interface/AddOns folder.
