Calendar

Greetings,

Being new to this forum, I'm a little unfamiliar with the local etiquette. Please accept my apologies if I step on any toes.

I'm in need of a way to get iCalendar formatted information from the Internet into WoW somehow (it only needs to be read-only).

I'd been lead to believe that WoW was pretty much sand-boxed, and that nothing from outside could get in. However, the existence of the LightHeaded addon would seem to indicate otherwise.

Are there any intrepid programmers out there who would be interested in taking on a project like this?

Thanks in advance,

ZK

LightHeaded does not access Wowhead directly. It's merely a database of collected comments, stored within the addon itself. http://www.wowinterface.com/download...html#changelog

If you wish to get your iCal data into the game, there would need to be some way to get it into an xml format or lua table so that an addon can compile and display it for you. I'm not sure if anyone has done anything of the sort yet.

edit: and welcome to the forums
