I just started using WoW UI Designer and I was wondering what addons were made with it? The reason I am asking is to get an example of a functional addon that I can use as a guide on how to use the designer.

I use it to create BobsToolbox but I'm looking for another editor. This editor hasn't been updated in a very long time and it would be nice to not have to deal with the bugs. It doesn't appear they are going to start working on the project again.

WoW UI Designer is imho the best choice if you want to create "frames" in XML, instead of "pure" Lua
-- Don't ever try AddOn Studio, it's horribly outdated

There also is a non-WoW IDE you could give a try: IntelliJ IDEA
It supports Lua (and the plugin is made by the author of Prat 3.0)

Otherwise just use Notepad++ or Notepad2, etc

I don't believe addons are different according to the IDE / Text Editor,
.. but to the author and the framework/libraries (e.g. Ace3) and use of either Lua/XML for frames
