Yeah... is that TitanPanel I see? There's been an issue with Titan and nUI regarding fixed tooltips for a long time. That may be what we're seeing here.

yeah, i mean i still get on the odd occasion an issue with default and tiptac where to tooltips will appear in the top left corner for some reason, been doing it since u add that hp and mana info to the nui tips, apart from what it does atm, it works ok with tiptac and fixed tooltips, so i just leave it fixed, only issue there is whats in that pic.. does it with a few things when changing setting that have tooltips

Yeah... from what I can see, it looks like nUI and TipTac are fighting over how and where the tooltip is anchored... nUI is using one corner to set the "fixed" location and TipTic is using the opposite corner, so it stretches across the screen.

You might try using the "/nui tooltip default" option in nUI, and then use TipTac's own tooltip management options to set the location of the tooltips.

Just to confirm...
I have been using TipTac for awhile with nUI and this is what I did to give TipTac control of the tooltip(several months ago) and have never had this issue, even with 4.0.1.

tried that, thats what causes the tooltip to sometimes anchor to the top left corner, reguardless of where i tell tiptac to anchor to... and thats been around since the new hp and mp info was added

I don't understand... if you're using '/nui tooltips default' then nUI should not interfere with the anchoring of the tooltip at all.

In this case my brain ... I made a Boo Boo and had a typo ..It worked lol .... Been to busy trying to find out what they broke in Cata and my brain was mush when I tried to do the slash command ( 3 times I was stupid I will admit ) ..

I havne't looked into this yet. It may be that I just have some setting in the wrong mode. But in tonight's raid, my tooltips wouldn't go away. I tried toggling the combattips option, so they'd hide in combat, but no joy. I don't have a tooltip addon, just nUI affects them, afaik.

only real problem i have with using default is that, using tiptac still has tooltips vanish into the beyond if i move it to fast over skills, and using fixed i had all my tooltips in one place so they don't get in the way when i'm fighting... guess we can't have the best of both worlds lol

I've got something strange going on with my tooltips as well. When I have it set to /nui tooltips mouse, when I mouse over someone's toon on screen it will put their tooltip information on the far left side of my screen above my buffs. If I mouse over items in my bag it will put the tooltip for that item at my mouse, when I mouse over my spells on my action bars it will put their tooltips at my mouse location but if I mouse over an item that has dropped I get no tooltip at all. I change my /nui tooltips to default and I get the same results. I'm at work right now so I don't have an exact listing of my addons but it's mostly a clean install of NUI. Any ideas?
