Yeah... nUI is decidedly *not* designed with the minimalist in mind.

nUi. In it's place are 2 empty buttons, on mouse over the right one is labelled cancel. The short keys work tho.

The bar is there without nUI.

as a lock it is very bad to not beable to control your imp in heroic icc we need the bar fixed please

I have a problem with my pet bar, but only when in Demonology spec.. It seems to somehow relate to the fact that there is a new icon being added into the pet bar or something. IE, Meta Form.

It likes to jump around and not stay still.. Usually a few inches to the left or right, depending on the mood it's in. Usually to the right though.

Aff and Destro specs, don't have this problem at all.

If hunters have the same problem but mages don't ...

As in, the fact that at present the stance bars ( aspects for hunters and demo form for warlocks ) are attached to the pet bars instead of being separate entities.

I can't remember the effect on my mage now so I guess I'll have to spend some time on her and see if I get the same problem happen with her.

In a nutshell, what's happening here is that the pet bar is tainting when the pet is spawned in combat and that breaks the bar being drawn. It shows up the most in PvP, but it affects all game play.

i hardly ever summon my pet in combat and i still get the missing bar until after i get in combat and then leave combat after combat the bar is normally there

spawned and summoned aren't quite the same but result in the same effect.

Imagine you're in a vehicle of some sort or a mount .. then you dismount too close to a mob .. possible combat scenario .. pet spawns with no problems ( as this is a part of blizzard coding ) bar has problems because the addon in question is having problems showing it due to combat taint .. combat stops .. it appears.

However, I also get this affect when not in combat .. same scenario though such as dismounting or landing from an auto flight. Sometimes there are mere milliseconds before the bar spawns .. perhaps due to some of their experimental coding on secure functions .. only time will tell.

Pet bar didn't show on my mage when in frost spec and I summoned a Water Elemental.

Had to do a /nui rl to get pet bar to show.

this bug also afects shadow priests there bar is gone as well

Yeah -- this is going to affect all pet bars and special bars. It will be fixed in nUI6, maybe in nUI5.
