Try using the Dev version. Scott has made many code optimizations there. Also, what errors are you seeing?

There is no such thing as a memory leak in an addon, if it matters any... addons use dynamic memory and a garbage collector. Unless the addon keeps adding memory it never stops using, it cannot "leak" memory because as soon as it no longer references the memory, it is available to the garbage collector.

The problem you are talking about is one that has been reported quite a few times on the official WoW UI forum including users who do not use nUI. If memory serves me correctly, one mod frequently involved is CowTip, but I'm not so sure it's CowTip's fault, either.

In any event, there has been a *lot* of optimization of nUI's memory usage in the last few updates, so make sure you're running 5.03.05 which is very stable from the look of it and follow the instructions in this FAQ -- http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=21716 -- you should see much better performance if you do and very low memory usage.

Inside of your WoW folder, is there another folder in there called Errors, and is there anything in that folder?

Are you saying you cannot launch WoW because you don't have enough memory? Or is WoW crashing with a memory error?

Please specify exactly what you are doing when the error occurs, and exactly what the error message is.

I am running on a 4GB machine and have no problems with WoW or nUI.
