ActionBar Question

I've been wanting to make the transition to ActionBars made with RDX (currently I use Dominos actionbar mod). I've checked the ActionBar guide but couldn't find an answer:

Should I add multiplexer parameters to my ActionBar window? Or do they have a builtin repaint feature?

Edit: Also, I have my timer as Cooldown&Text. Is there a way to prevent the Text from showing up when I'm on a global cooldown? I'd just like the cooldown to show up.

The border of the button is very important and use color : - yellow : currently active - red : out of range - blue : out of mana - green : equipped item

Does this have to be the border? Is it possible to make this feature on another texture?

This is probably more of a feature request.

Also a feature request, I'd prefer to have these colors affect the key binding.
