Vehicle Unit Frames?

When my raid mounts up into vehicles, I can't target them for crap using RDX, I don't know if this is a shortcoming of RDX, of the publicly exposed API of WoW or just the specific unitframes I'm utilizing...

if it's my unitframes, i'm MORE than happy to change / make new ones!

Ok, after some reading it appears Vehicles == Pets.

When you mount in a vehicle the blizzard unit frame moves down (or totally away for party members) and is replaced by the pet unit frame - is this possible to do with RDX in a unit frame?
