Manually fix AddOns?

okay, so it seems that 1.9 created a global issue with AddOns in the terms of scaling. Is there anyway to manually fix them myself? Most noteably being DiscordMods, TipBuddy and TrinketMenu. I'm sure it's just a matter of making a few scaling changes, but hadn't gotten my hands on any "before" and "after" mods showing purely the scaling bug being fixed (thus pointing me in the direction required for fixing).

Anyone have any information on this? I am also starting to get into making my own mods and any information concerning this change will help me understand what I'm doing and why it's changed. Thanks!
