I'm not a huge fan of square fonts... I generally think they are an eyesore. IMO if you used your chat font on the entire layout, it would look very nice.

BUT if you like the way it looks and can read everything, that's the important thing. Really, who cares what a bunch of nerds on a website say.

Here is a general question for everyone regarding fonts: When you are choosing fonts, do you make sure it has most characters (special characters [£ µ ¤ etc] and accents [ă ö ć etc]), OR do you only care about the main characters in your localization of WoW (which I assume are just numbers, some punctuation, and the alphabet for most of us)?

I used to use calibri, or emblem for a clean sleek look. I changed to a custom font for a different look. I can read it, but I am leaning twoards going back to a simple font again.

@Blkdrgn Only issue I see with the font is that your chat/tooltip/nameplates aren't using the same font as the rest of your UI xD

It's a good idea to use a font with accents and such even if you play on an English locale, since lots of player names have accents/dots/whatever in them. Personally I use a "complete" font for the chat log and one which contains accents for unit frames (or other characters that players can use for names). There's really no need for special characters on an english locale except for player names, IMO.

Updated Version of my UI, i got some help from a good mate of mine on Kilrogg EU.

I did my best when i made this UI, about making it easily readable, spells easily accesable, Everything is in range, the not so needed things over in the corner and such

Comments are welcome but please keep it calmly since i dont like getting flamed, but i guess no one likes that anyway

Any suggestions? Id like others opinions on what could be better and what is great.

For grid you want your names shorter, search for abbreviations, as for oUF i gues you can just add [nameshort] in the self.Tag

It is possible to force oUF frames to show, but not like Pitbull/STUF/whatever configs do.

Just design the frames on player or something then change it to the boss afterwards.

Building a UI for a lower spec or smaller machine has been something that has been on my mind recently.

I have a fairly "dope" rig at home for my gaming, but on the go, my laptop is obviously much less, shall we say, capable. It runs WoW just fine, but I need to lower the settings in many areas. Sorry to get off topic, but these are *exactly* the types of UI that I have been looking for lately; Small screen, lower spec comp UIs that still get the job done. Anyway, it looks fantastic. I really like the party frames! I might even suggest moving the minimap to the bottom right, just because I'm crazy about having things symmetrical, but it's all a matter of personal preference
