CalaiUI -- Version 2.0

This is in the works with some big changes. I haven't fully finished everything, but I'm getting close!

Let's just say I am very excited with the popularity of this UI and the many people in the community that love it. Now only if I could master interfaces for every resolution.

I'm also in the process of writing an addon that will give you the default runebar frames for holy power and soul shards from the Paladins and Warlocks for those who like the old school look.

Why do paladins still use pallypower?

There's just two blessings and they both last one hour. Surely there's no need for it?

This is not the place to have a debate about the why, but the reason we use addons is always the same.
Addons allow us to present the information we want to see and allow us to put that information where we want to see it.

As for pallypower, it allows Paladins to see how long they have on blessings/seals and if anyone is missing their buff. Again, information you might want to know when in a raid or group so you dont have to ask people.

I was just wondering that's all. I managed to keep everyone blessed correctly back in TBC without pallypower. I just think it seems rather pointless to use it now because there's no reagent cost and you press one button to buff absolutely everybody in your raid / group.

Here's a shot of my UI as a whole right now anywho.
It's really simply but it works for me.
Need to sort out the buff border but I'm too lazy to do that.

I agree with carebear. If someone dies in the group, I just rebuff. That is how I keep track :P Plus, PP is hideous! :O

I didn't even notice it to be honest.

There's loads of little things like that still to do but I'm just lacking the drive to be bothered to do it. As long as the main parts of the UI are working I'm happy.

Sets the correct CVars, applies chat settings, and creates the right TinyDPS and DBM saved variables.

I'm planning to expand on it though.

If you look at one of your screenies, the one in the Dalaran Sewer, i see a Goblin Burger. (i know its not quite that, but its as close as can get :P)

Need to fix other stuff first...or just write new mods *lol*. Nameplates was the last one missing >_<. So updating the layout is now on todolist #1.

Suppose I could share mine while I'm waiting on a partition resize.

Always a work in progress, of course. I really need to update my old Tidy Plates layout and stop using Neon.

I'll probably end up coding some custom aura frames when I find time in the next month or so, since nothing I've found has the features I'd want. Still shuddering at the thought of using secure templates, though...

I've since gone back to MSBT from xCT. xCT was nice enough after I hacked it to pieces, but I missed my animations too much.

Edit since I forgot to mention: Panel addon is Briefcase, which I'll release whenever I get around to it. It uses a custom backdrop/border API which gets around some Blizzard quirks and adds a LOT of neat features, and has a pretty simple template->panel setup that might be called user friendly if you stretch the definition a bit.
