Tooltip Issue..

It's on not much of an issue, really, but it's something that needs to be fixed.

How do I fix / move:

(( 'That..' being the Tooltip. Yes, I know what it is. >> ))

Has happened with my last run of WAU, just wanted to know which mod it is that moves it, if there is any, and how I can re-position it, as Mazzifying didn't work.

Other than that, I've got these remaining issues, which haven't been an annoyance so far, other than the BugSack Error Sound on Load.

RE: Tooltip Issue..

Hi thats actually very easy to fix and put where you want them.

in the console type /ttip (Tiny Tip) , its the mod that controls look and feel and tooltips. It has a fly out menu. You want to adjust the anchoring settings. You can locate the tooltip wherever you want.

Two caveat. you want to adjust the both the unit anchor and the frame anchor for complete movement of all tootips. If you want it the tooltips on the cursor the unit tooltip is self explanatory. The anchor one is counter intuative. It's sticky not cursor i don't why, maybe someone who programs will want to explain that, but it is. On the same submenu I also check anchor custom and always anchor game.

A couple other settings I always use. I put target of target on a separate line for clarity, and under appearance I use smooth out border and background, use compact tooltips and hide tootips for unit frames.

i encourage you to look thru the setting because Tiny Tip is quite powerful and you change the look and feel to your liking.

As for the rest of your issues they're separate issue but it looks to me like you maybe didn't follow the instructions as you're missing a few files.

Good luck, I hope I've helped.

Got the same problem after updating with WAU today, seems to have broken tinytip.

Just replace with your backup and add a .svn folder.

The tinytip included with Mazzle was a very old version. Thrae, its author, has begun to update it again, and is doing a rewrite. As always, anything from wowace is *not* guaranteed to be stable code, as that is a development site.

To the OP: enable "automatic dependency download" in WAU - that's the same answer I gave someone yesterday for the same bugs.

I've had it auto since I installed it, Seerah.

It seems that the latest version of TinyTip is a lil' bugged / Options aren't available, just threw in the last version I had and that worked.. don't know why I didn't think of it earlier. =.=

Thanks, guys.

/ttip and /tinytip isn't working. I reverted and added the .svn folder for now.

Thanks

Arrow

Would someone be able to provide the working older version of Tiny Tooltip for me please.

I lost my working version sadly yesterday.

Thank you in advance.

I would recommend people to also download a copy of Lithe tooltip Doctor
in combination with tiny tip

and then type /Ltd show to show the tooltip anchor

drag the anchor to the place where you want the tooltip to appear, and then
right-click the anchor to set the tooltip location

This would make tiny tip to be able to appear at anywhere I like instead
of only at the tinytip's list of location

for example, tinytip could appear at the right upper corner, but that might block the minimap. Using the above method, you could set it to be below
the minimap, at about 2 o'clock location
