Problem with NeedToKnow addon

Hi all. Before begin with my doubt, I have to say that I'm spanish, so I want to say you that I need you to speak to me easy english (easy words and good written words).

Well, now I tell you my problem: I am using NeedToKnow addon in my rogue. I've configured all my bars. All right, but now I change my spec and the bars reset his position and all its settings. What have I to do for repair this problem?

This is not a problem it is a feature. As your bars change when you switch specs so will the bars. There may be a setting to disable this in the Interface options menu. If not then we may be able to remove the code for this.

No, on settings there're not an option to disable the changing of specs. Then, can someone say me how to save the config for differents specs?

Just recreate it. I can't see it taking that long. I have setup this addon for each of my toons. And i have 1 of every class.

Go into your addon folder and go to NeedToKnow open the file NeedToKnow.lua

Use the find option to find this line

NeedToKnow_Settings["Spec"][2]["Groups"][1]["Enabled"] = true

Change the true at the end to false.

Save the file.
If you are in game type
/console reloadui

This should stop the bars from changing? I only looked real quick If it doesnt work let me know and I will dig further.

Thanks you, Nobgul, but it didn't work because "NeedToKnow_Settings["Spec"][2]["Groups"][1]["Enabled"] = true" wasn't found on my LUA file. Do you know why?

Private servers are against the Blizzard TOS, and as a Fan Site we follow the same rules. I am sorry but I can no longer help you with your problem.
