Using nui Art. How?

I see all the art in the other tabs that you guys put in and spend cool time working on nui. My question is how do I get it into wow? I see how to down load it. Where do I stick it in the interface or what files do I move?

Thanks

P.S. I know there probably is one out there asking the same think I just can’t find it.

Just download the art you want to use and install it like any other addon. When you log in to WoW, click the addons button, scroll down until you find the new art mod and enable it. Most are disabled by default since you can only "use" one at a time.

You can use different art on different characters by using the character dropdown in the addon window and selecting the toon you want the art to be used on. Then enable the art and it will only appear on that one toon's UI. Then you can choose a different toon from the dropdown and enable a different art background for that toon, etc.

There are several different "skins" for nUI designed for various classes and there's one plain black skin called "black gloss". I noticed on the black gloss there's a background for the 3 main action bars, is there anyway to get a background for those same bars but also have the skins for my mage, dk, or lock?

I'm assuming that I cannot use the mage skin and the gloss black at the same time because they won't stack.

You are correct... they won't stack. You would have to use a graphic editor to modify the skin textures you have for your class skins to add the background you want for the action bars.

Yeah that seems well over my head. LOL is there anyway you could add a file that would give us graphic options and full background of the top 3 action bars? Just a thought... O

The background is the graphic... so I only have control over the background art plugins I created. You would have to ask the author of the ones you use if they could make a version with a background for the action bars.

Ok, I'll go back and try to ask the author(s) of the backgrounds I liked. Thanx again!
