What if WoW is on an external drive?

I just downloaded the Minion beta, but I'm having the same problem with it that I had with the old updater.

I have WoW installed on an external drive, but I don't have the option to choose anything other than my system drive.

Any work-around for this?

Thanks!

Mac OS 10.5.7

Well, I may have solved my own problem, even though it seems a little kludgy . . .

I made an alias of the drive where WoW is installed and put the alias on my system drive. I tried an alias of the WoW folder, but that didn't work.

Once I navigated through the alias, it found all my add-ons.

Go to tools-> options-> MMOUI-WOW -> then WoW install location and put in the location.
So instead of C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft it would be whatever driver letter instead of C.

D'oh. For some reason my brain didn't want to grok the manual entry option . . .

And, for Mac users, it would be /volumes/DriveName/install directory
