Disable "detail graphics" view on map?

Is there any way to disable the detail graphics look for the maximized map? Best I could find was a resize of the "detail graphics visible area" under map options, but the minimum value for that was 2. Couldn't set it to 0 or -1.

I'd like to view the normal blizzard map (like normal one accessed by "alt-m") with all the zoom and tracking features carbonite offers...but without the "minimap" look. Thanks.

in options you can turn off the load carbonite map data, and just use blizzard map for everything.

If you happen to be referring to the option "Maximize Carbonite map instead of opening normal map", that is not the option I'm looking for. Tried "Move fullscreen map data into maximized Carbonite map" and that didn't work for me either.

However, while looking up exactly what "Move fullscreen map data into maximized Carbonite map" did, I found from some old 2009 forum posts (http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/s....php?t=21605#3) what I initially wanted (sufficiently). By right-clicking on the map, under the "scale" options, the "Details at Scale" slider will decrease/increase zoom levels before detailed mode triggers. By setting it close to maximum, I can zoom in significantly (more than I would ever need to zoom in personally) before detail mode pops up.

So in case any1 in the future wants this...and hoping Google's SOE works as well as it should. To disable or increase zoom threshold of detail graphics view: right click non-icon area of map -> scale -> details at scale slider bar.
