I'll be testing later on today, as its late now and I was playing all day with my setup. For those using BugSack, until the most recent version, they removed FuBar support and instead were using LibDataBroker. The most recent version of BugSack at http://www.wowace.com/projects/bugsack/, has minimap button support.

I would have to disagree, Omen 3 utalizes Blizz threat generator now and it the most acurate i have seen .
i've been using omen in 2.4.2 and always had problem with overaggroing tank (<boomkin) in 25 men, after i 've started using DTM it became much more easy to control my threat, plus omen have somewhat non-userfriendly interface, while DTM generally does not even need to be configured.

Ok, it seems the autocast and cd clock in the petbar doesn't work.

There's no timer on the buttons when they have cd, only that clocklike shadow...

No matter which option i use with /nui tooltips, they're always on the center right. At least the player tooltips.

When i try to cancel a buff, i get an error:
Code:

Cool This is so not the place...

... but I had to share this e-mail I received if only because it would be such a nice dream. Too bad it would never happen. /sigh

--------------------------------------------------------

The Birk Economic Recovery PlanHi Pals,

I'm against the $85,000,000,000.00 bailout of AIG.

Instead, I'm in favor of giving $85,000,000,000 to America
in a 'We Deserve It Dividend'.

To make the math simple, let's assume there are 200,000,000 bon-a-fide U.S. Citizens 18+.

Our population is about 301,000,000 +/- counting every man, woman and child. So 200,000,000 might be a fair stab at adults 18 and up..

So divide 200 million adults 18+ into $85 billon that equals $425,000.00.

My plan is to give $425,000 to every person 18+ as a 'We Deserve It Dividend'.

Of course, it would NOT be tax free. So let's assume a tax rate of 30%.

Every individual 18+ has to pay $127,500.00 in taxes. That sends $25,500,000,000 right back to Uncle Sam.

But it means that every adult 18+ has $297,500.00 in their pocket. A husband and wife has $595,000.00.

What would you do with $297,500.00 to $595,000.00 in your family?
Pay off your mortgage - housing crisis solved.
Repay college loans - what a great boost to new grads
Put away money for college - it'll be there
Save in a bank - create money to loan to entrepreneurs.
Buy a new car - create jobs
Invest in the market - capital drives growth
Pay for your parent's medical insurance - health care improves
Enable Deadbeat Dads to come clean - or else

Remember this is for every adult U S Citizen 18+ including the folks who lost their jobs at Lehman Brothers and every other company that is cutting back. And of course, for those serving in our Armed Forces.

If we're going to re-distribute wealth let's really do it...instead of trickling out a puny $1000.00 ( "vote buy" ) economic incentive that is being proposed by one of our candidates for President.

If we're going to do an $85 billion bailout, let's bail out every adult U S Citizen 18+!

As for AIG - liquidate it.
Sell off its parts.
Let American General go back to being American General.
Sell off the real estate.
Let the private sector bargain hunters cut it up and clean it up.

Here's my rationale. We deserve it and AIG doesn't.

Sure it's a crazy idea that can "never work."

But can you imagine the Coast-To-Coast Block Party!

How do you spell Economic Boom?

I trust my fellow adult Americans to know how to use the $85 Billion 'We Deserve It Dividend' more than I do the geniuses at AIG or in Washington DC
.

And remember, The Birk plan only really costs $59.5 Billion because $25.5 Billion is returned instantly in taxes to Uncle Sam.

Ahhh...I feel so much better getting that off my chest.

Kindest personal regards,
Birk

I'm not sure if this is termed as zoning, but loading an instance for example... I'll try going into an instance with only nUI loaded, then I'll check my other addons to see if I reproduce the bug.

Thanks for informing me Mscott

Edit: I tried zoning from one place (Shattrath to Ironforge - my main horde server was down, so I logged on to my 64 alliance hunter) with only nUI loaded and it's better but still not 100% - I have the console set up to show on mouseover only, but after zoning, the micromenu still shows under the HUD block (image attached).

Any chance you have a mod installed that modifies the combat log? Show buttons is a Bliz default built-in method for the combat log and I cannot think of nor find any circumstance under which it would not exist.

Yes, I forgot to mention that reloading the UI solves the problem, but this needs to be done after each zone change.

Fubar 3.5

well i have narrowed it down to Fubar causing the default Blizz bar to show when zoning into an instane,

but the error relating to the combat frame goes away as well.

so that being said fubar needs some work or something :-(

if there si anything you can do Spiel, would greatly appreciate it, fubar is my life line to needed information with a quickness

i just dont understand how it is doing this with no error

I think it might have something to do with how fubar isnt moving the dafault blizz bar up when you zone in or out. a bug in fubar for sure.

You beat me to it again Mscott!

I can confirm that Fubar 3.5 is the culprit. It's the actual Fubar itself which is causing the problem, not the plugins.

I am *so* relieved to discover the issue is not nUI on this one... because I've been pouring through the code and for the life of me could not see how it was possible.

Hud

I know you arent adding any new stuff to the UI at this point in time, but when you get a chance can you check out the new Icehud. I absolutely love it

I was using it while awaiting Nui port and i have fallen in love with it, It uses blizz default threat system and allows you to put a threat bar on the hud and has a real nice cast bar with option of global cooldown bar as well.

ill posted some screen shots if it with the threat bar and the player and target cast bar. and with pet

Well... I can tell you that I am dropping (integrated) support of MobInfo and Threat-2.0 and adding integration of Omen3. I will also be replacing my own threat bar with one that's based on the new Bliz threat API as it will be WAY more accurate and reliable than threat 2.0 and unrelated to whether or not other party members have it installed. MobInfo (and MobHealth) are no longer needed as well since Bliz now provides accurate health info.

So... a new threat bar is coming for the HUD, Omen3 will be ready tonight I hope. I'll wait to see your screencap before I comment on the casting bar.

I have it installed and have no problems in terms of errors. My one and only question is: How can I turn off the nUI health race bar? I haven't been able to find a toggle switch. Even if I have to edit a .lua, that will be fine...can someone point me to the right place? Thanks in advance.

I think the variable 'index' is out of place here. Looks like Spiel is using 'i' as his index variable instead.

Try editing nUI/Units/nUI_UnitAura.lua and replace line 1103:

Old code:
Code:
CancelUnitBuff( unit_id, index );
New code:
Code:
CancelUnitBuff( unit_id, i );
