Angry What is wrong?..

Ok, so a while ago I downloaded a UI pack from curse.com. followed the instructions, and a message came up saying:

Interface\FrameXML\UIParent.lua:2179:
attempt to index a nil value

So I just figured it was a faulty addon, removed it and logged back in.
When I noticed it was still there when I logged on, I deleted all the addons that I had installed.. Still there...

Anyone that could help?

I really would like the help..

Thanks

When you removed all of your addons, did you delete your WTF folder as well?
That might help.

There probably was a WTF folder or something with that UI pack i guess and that usually needs to be installed for the ui to look right.

On the other hand it might just be an outdated mod that has some faulty code, but still valid code

Ok... So I ran repair for wow and it fixed it... but now when I click the launcher it keeps downloading updated tools, I have repeated this for 30-35 times.. still says the same message. Wow itself actually works, just not the launcher? I have got wow to open by clicking the WoW.exe in the wow folder.

thanks for the replies though.. but anyone have an idea on what is wrong now?

Just disable the launcher. You do that at the login screen. As for the updates, well you don't need them until blizzard says you do and by that time you can't go around it anyway
