The site wasn't hacked. The ads weren't generating enough money to pay for the site. So it went down.

don't take this the wrong way, dread, but i would do it too if i cared enough.

i'm not knocking the site. Loz and his people were there when i need help or a cool layout. (thx again, thadruid, if you ever read here) Darktide's tutroials were AMAZING. the people are what made that site. and i am sorry it's on the brink of loss. If i could afford to help, i would. But artists are a hard job to use to make money, and Loz is an artist, a visionary. His idea's and dreams made playing WoW desireable, not like it didn't do that already on it's own. And some people might think i am nuts, but i don't care.

Loz is a cool guy. and he provided a great service for the masses. But sometimes, i don't think he expected his mods to generate such a reaction. Maybe a friend or two would be interested in his work, perhaps he might have gotten some of his guild to use his mods.

But they took on a persona all thier own and at least one person from seemingly every country where WoW is available has been touched by discord.

Discord is Loz's cration. The saying goes that you can only destroy what you have created. If Loz decides to dis-continue his work, it's his work, he has every right in the world to do that and owes nothing to no one except himself.

Hope for the best.

Take everything with a grain of salt. So long as it is here, enjoy it. Don't be upset when it's gone. Shtuff happens. Let the man eat and if the fates allow, he may come back to his mods.
