I was just wondering what file to delete to get the top frame thingy away, its kinda blocking some.

If you're talking about the console at the top of the display, I might suggest you try reading the documentation for the slash commands so you know what all features you have what control over.

As for the console... either '/nui console off' (permanently hide the console) or '/nui console mouseover' to hide the console until you mouse over it

I've created an additional add-on with a GUI frame to set/change all of the options available via slash commands. Im stuck at work on 12hour night shifts for a few days. If you'd like to voulenteer to test my config tool drop me a PM or email. I'd appreciate the second (or third..fourth..hundreth) pair of eyes to catch bugs and deficits.

As of last testing the GUI will appear onscreen at first login, but once you click on the [X] close button you have to use a /script command to reopen it.

Code:

 /script nUIOptionsFrame:Show();

Hey Speil, this is Greyfox from the Curse site, and I'm still trying to figure out what's causing the dash to be like it is. I've cleared my WTF folder of anything Nui, as well as my Addon folder, redownloaded it from both here and Curse, and it still give me those green bars when it's on Nui up at the time.

Well, looking at the original screen-cap you did (I've attached a copy to this message) it looks to me like all of the nUI textures are missing but I'm not sure. Does the HUD work when you target mobs? Or do you get green boxes there, too? What happens if you disable all mods except for nUI itself? Does this happen as soon as you log into WoW, or only after you've switched between windowed and non-windowed modes?

When I target a mob it has a huge green block instead of the Curved health/mana bar. When I disable all mods except for nUI I get the same as in the screen once it starts up. This happens both is windowed mode and non-windowed mode. I am playing at 1920x1200 if that helps.

Here's another picture with me targeting someone.

Okay... is there any chance you're installing your addons somewhere other than "World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns" -- if so, what is the exact path that you're using to install your addons in (including the upper/lower case if you're on a Unix box)?

Program Files > World of Warcraft > Interface > AddOns

I just drag the nUI folder from the .zip file straight into AddOns folder.

If the files are there, they should load. The only reason you would get a green square is if WoW couldn't load those files for some reason or they are corrupt.

Can you e-mail those two files to me at [email protected] and let me see if they're damaged in some way.

Okay -- it has to be something other than the files themselves as I was able to save them into my own nUI path and load them just fine. So, something else is preventing Bliz from being able to load your texture files and it's something outside of nUI and the texture files themselves.

What kind of system are you running on? Vista? XP? Something else?
