Nui +carbonite 3.02 and Info Panel Plugin Problem

Hello there! :-)

I have downloaded the newest Versions of both Carbonite und Carbonite infopanel Plug in.

Now the Problem: When they are activated, the minimap is on the Position of the original Blizzard ui and round...and M for Map is broken.

When only Carbonite is activated the minimap is at the right place...but M still broken.

Without both all is fine..;-)

By the way the following things i have done before posting:

Newest NUI + (done)
WTF and Cache and Interface folder new (done)
All other Addons deleted (done)
Newest Addons installed and WTF cleaned (done)

Hmmm...

Well... the info panel plugin for Carbonite is not of my doing, so I can't comment on that. However, if you've disabled everything except nUI and Carbonite and the "M" doesn't work for Carbonite's map, then I'm inclined to think it is something to do with Carbonite as nUI does not modify the hot key for the main map and does not alter the main map in any way.

Is anyone else experiencing anything like this?

I too have the newest carbonite DL and installed. 'M' will not bring up my map...nor does clicking on the carbonite logo and selecting map from the options.

Nope, with nUI disabled they still don't work.

First thing is first did you delete the old Carbonite files ( you should always do so for this addon) since there were bugs fix's to it second all i did was update the toc to the infopanle there should be no problem with it I did Dl the newest version of Carbonite nothing has change to the map and minimap codes

I kinda figured that would be the case... this is definitely a Carbonite bug... you should probably check their support forums and see if they have a fix for it.

Oh thanks so much for that link! I'll go try what they say. But on another note...I've been fooling around with all my addons. I've deleted the ones that were there and downloaded everything fresh. Only now when I log into WoW it doesn't give me the button to click for 'addons' on the chr screen. Any ideas?

I still have the addon directory in the interface folder in the wow folder.

You're probably on a Vista machine and probably installing your updates into the wrong directory. Under Vista and Windows 7 they should be in [ C: > Users > Public > Games > World of Warcraft > Interface > AddOns ]

did you make sure that you open the zip files and put the addons in

that sometimes happens when you Dl a bunch of addons all at once

I unzipped them all to C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns

I feel so dumb! Normally I can work this out

Oh, I just noticed on the login screen about the missing button thing. I'll go check wow support and see if there's anything there,

No it's not all fixed

So far as I can tell everything is in the right place...yet I have no addon button.

point your mouse over the wow icon you use to launch the program right click and select open containing folder..is the folder that opens where you are installing your mods if not you may have more than one wow install on your computer from when blizzard changed the default install path . delete the one you are not using and create a new shortcut on your desktop if needed

Turned out that when extracting each new addon had formed two folders...so the .toc file was not accessible in the first folder. After removing the extra folders everything is back to working properly.

FYI I use ACP

It puts an addon button in the game menu, so you can just his esc and load/unload adds without logging out of the game.
