You can move the action bars and many other screen elements using the slash command '/nui movers' to unlock them and then '/nui movers' a second time to lock them back down.

As for 25 man raid units... read the patch notes please... I would also suggest you read the documentation on the main download page (or in the ABOUT.TXT included with the distrubution) for more info on the UI and it's slash commands.

Sorry, you posted it after I did. I just can't find anywhere that you can make the actionbars themselves bigger. >.>

That is not easily done I'm afraid -- not at this time. The only way to do that would be to manually edit [ Interface > AddOns > nUI > Bars > nUI_ButtonBars.lua ] -- at the top of that file you'll find the configuration layout for all of the action bars. The button size is the value you want to change... however... that has consequences because as soon as you enlarge the bars, then they start to overlap one another and other screen elements, etc. and there's the caveat that every time I update nUI, you'll need to re-edit the source. I will be adding full skinning support soon, until then this is the only way it can be done.

ok i got a small idea, shoot me down if you must, i dont mind at all

As a Guild Leader and Raid Leader its a pain to set the loot to Master Loot before a boss and give strat and ... well you get the point lol then have to change it back to Group loot after the boss. i always forget.

well i found this mod that does it for you, just wondered how easy it would be to incorporate this type of thing into nUI?

What it does is automatically set loot to Master when you start dpsing on a raid boss, then changes it back to group loot once all the loot has been handed out.

I occasionally get teh dissapearing everything bug, and I update EVERY time you come out with a new version and post it to wowui(gotta love teh email alerts for your favorites..). All I do is us /nui rl an it reloads everything, even though you can't see it get typed in.

Proplem isn't nui it works on it's own so it's some other addon... i will find out whitch one.

Two things...

First, there is a known bug in WoW that causes custom textures to be lost when switching between windowed and non-windowed modes. However, whenever this occurs, a simple '/nui rl' will resolve the issue.

Second, what I see in your screencap is a classic example of an out of date video driver. I have seen this several times now with other users and if you search this thread for the key phrase "video driver" you'll probably find some of those examples. So far, every time this has come up, just updating the video driver was all it took to fix the problem.

If you try both of those and are still stuck, let me know.

FluffyCow -- do you have !Swatter installed? Are you getting any error messages at all when this happens? If you want to drop me an e-mail, I can send you a copy of !Swatter and then next time this happens, you can check it for error messages.

mscott -- I'll put this on the back burner list of things to look at and it is something I would consider more actively when I get to fleshing out nUI's raidability. For now however, I wouldn't consider this a core UI item so much as a functionality enhancement and would prefer to try and resist my ADHD desire to do everything at once ~lol~ In the meantime, of course, there's no reason you can't continue to use http://www.wowace.com/projects/zzml/ as a third party mod.

Morning!

I was wondering if it would be possible to add the letters S, E, and W (South, East, West) for the mini map? Or could this be more easily done with a nUI addon? If it's a huge task, no worries as I can live without it hehe. I'm directionally challenged, and I miss those letters on my mini map from when I used SimpleMiniMap.

If this is considered, it's no rush as I know there are more pressing issues you probably need to work on.

If you had read any of the documentation/notes/whatever on the page you downloaded nUI from, it clearly states that there are no 15/25/40 man raid windows yet. (I really need to macro this answer as it keeps coming up). You would need to use Grid (or something similar).

You cannot move the action bars really while keeping the same design.

Depending on your resolution will dictate how big things are (think there's still issues with trying to use the Blizzard UI Scale).

What it sounds like you want, is something that nUI isn't. nUI is designed to be used in the layout as seen in the screenshots, tightly integrated.

Hi Mate, i have almost the same issue, all the textures are gone, it's black like on the other guys picture.
I've tried /nui rl and my GFX driver is the newest from nvidia..

Never seen it before patchday today and the upgrade of nUI

Movable aura boxes? I tried with 4.13 and nui movers didnt allow me to move them anywhere and they are hiding my decursive icons

Do you have a roadmap of whats coming and possibly when? Dont get me wrong I like what you do and I have everything I need with nui and a couple of 3rd party apps but who doesnt want to know what to look fwd two. It seems alot of the the patches have been maint and then a few optional mods. Whats the next BIG thing your working to add right now? What does everyone else want added (Poll maybe of 5 things on ur to-do list?). What do you think your missing when you play? I dont think nui can add anything else for me, HealBot, Auctioneer, Decurisve, Carbonite, Recount, Omen, ArkInv, pallypower, totemtimers, titanbar cover all the things I ever need on my charcers and most of the addons are specialzed for that class w/nui shouldnt do. Even if you get the raid support added unless it adds the stuff like grid/healbot/clique many people will still use these addons as they do the extra options weve come to like and saves time =) So thanks for everything

Reading the above made me think of an interim solution... while waiting for the expanded Raid windows to be completed, would it be possible to add a blank section to the party window section? i.e. Player->Party->10man->Blank

That way we could configure Grid (or something similar) to sit in the same spot as our normal party frames, and free up some display space on the main screen.

I'm not sure if this would be an easy thing to implement, but it should at least cut down on how many times you need to repost the above message :-)

Are you on a Mac, XP or Vista box?

If you go back to the earlier nUI version, does it work then?
