main map..big one

when hitting m ingame it seems when i have the follow character selected an info bar is displayed right over my arrow on the map and always in the middle of my map it displays where im at the corridnates and what not of where i am and i cant figure out how to get rid of it any ideas

the 1st pic is when my mouse aint on the map.. this is the way i want it when cursor is on map 2nd pic is my issue... usually the black box is right over my character and i cant see the arrow the issue is on my mini map too

That is a settings problem. Right click a non icon area of map, select Options and set "Location tip anchor" to "TopLeft" and "Location tip anchor to map" to "None".
