I haven't settled on a name yet... My current thought trail is to for now call it Rythal's UnNamed Map Addon, and then when it gets closer to being ready for testing, run a contest to name it with a blizzstore pet reward. But that's just a thought like everything else

While that name is kinda cool, personally, i would stay away of any reference to "the other addon". I'm only saying that because I foresee "the other addon's" rep getting tarnished, Dont want that for Rythal new addon with a name being so close.

edit: ment to add that im using Rythal's addon no matter what its called reference or not. he has shown what he is made of, and what he thinks of the community here

Well damn, that explains why it got so quiet over there I thought maybe people just had nothing to say... will turn off that addon. Wordpress sites always get so much spam so was trying to find a good block.

I've enabled akismet + bad behavior now... was trying to find something that didn't rely on a third party, since running my own mail servers i've seen how often xbl servers can screw up, but seems like the only way to really go.

I use growmap anti spambot plugin on my personal wordpress site. It simply requires people to check a box below the "post comment" button to confirm they are a human. Its stopped the roughly 50+ spam messages a day I was getting. Nice, simple and free to use.

Thought I had an account here a while ago, but it didn't recognize my email address. I created a new one to say thank you and let you know I support your effort as well. I appreciate everything you did for the "other" add on and look forward to what you are planning.

I like RytOn Maps or RyMaps as well and would like to see the maps add on as the first major development, but if you are looking at doing anything to gather data for uploading to a database, if you started with that first it would give you a nice big data set in advance of the maps coming out. I use the wowhead and curse addons right now and would be willing to use whatever you put out first.

Thanks again and I look forward to supporting whatever you end up with.
