Guild Member Dump

I am currently trying to find a way to the entire guild list dumped to the ServerVariables.lua -- is there any way to do this? I then plan to filter it out of the ServerVariables.lua into an XML file.

Guild dump

Hey there, I am new and I have done a search before posting and didnt find a thread in this forum requesting this so here goes:

I would like an addon that dumps my guild members (name, class and level) into a file, located in my wow folder.

This file doesnt NEED to be .txt, but anything I can open in say dreamweaver or word or some sort of commonly known program.

Keeping track of guildies and lvls for my roster has become VERY difficult and I would like something like this to ease this process.

Thank you!

There are a few of these already created, unfortunately none have been uploaded here as of yet.

Take a look here, one or another of those may be what you are looking for.

This would work great if they told you what program you need to open the .lua file or where the file was even located..

Any one know?

SavedVariables.lua is the file, and any text editor can open them.

I searched through curse-gaming and found 2 mods, well one really, and an updated version someone else had made.

It does dump it to SavedVariables.lua, the only problem is that it seems to require you open up your social guild pane in order to get a dump. And if you open your guild pane and have the 'show offline members' unchecked only the online members get dumped.

I'm not sure if this is a result of how GuildRosterInfo(index) works or not.

After adding a 'Who's On Teamspeak' section to our guild's site, it would be nice to have a 'Who's In Game' section as well, still racking my brain on how to get that info.

Orolain do to what you want you need 2 things :
an addon in wow that dumps to a file who is online from your guild every xx secs/mins, and outside program in the backgroup that every xx secs/mins scans savedvariables for the info and uploads it to your website.
