Am I stupid?! No tooltip when I hover over link in chat

Granted I've been away from the game for a while, so maybe I'm missing something, but in the past, I've been able to hover over links in the chat window, and have their tooltip pop up. Now I have to click to see the info, and that's just plain annoying!

This is driving me nuts. To the point that I've performed a "fresh" install of WoW, with the ONLY addon installed being nUI. No dice.

So I installed Prat, which I used with my prior UI loadout. (Sorry - it was before I discovered nUI Still no dice.

Searched for other addons - LinkHover, Prat - LinkHover, all with no dice.

Is nUI blocking the ability somehow?

Think I'm selling my 'puter, as it MUST be possessed! Went to lunch, logged back in, having rebooted the computer, and everything works again.

I had rebooted before, out of desperation, and it didn't fix things.

Sometimes, I guess maybe the fix requires you to post in a public forum, so you look like an idiot to the world... Oh well, small price to pay for my UI to be the way I want

Normally it's me who finds the odd or quirky unexplainable errors that suddenly.... fix themselves. So I totally understand how you feel!

Thats about the same as me when herbing in northrend for frost lotus .. 30 mins later .... 'damn frost lotus isn't spawning' ... 5 seconds later .. 'oh look a frost lotus' rofl
