New UI Mod

This is my first attempt at making a UI mod, what im trying to do is make a combat tracker that includes DPS meters for your group / pet and raid, but also shows the actions you performed etc...

so

raidmember1 = 4329 damage
raidmember1pet = 12 damage
raidmember2 = 2220 damage
You = 2210 damage
yourpet = 200 damage

arcane shots fired = 12
aimed shots fired = 2


i think you get the picture. curently ive got it set up to display the incoming damage i've taken when the display button is pushed, but i have not figured out how to get it to display the outgoing damage (and adding party members and pets has proved significantly tougher then i expected)

any suggestions or thoughts would be great

i do have some scripting and XML experience, so im not totally in the dark, its just a matter of sitting down and pouring over it until i get it.

just an update, so far i've got it to display my DPS and my Targets DPS (in a window, and chat if the button is clicked), im currently working on implimenting DPS recording (as right now it resets each time i go into combat) after thats finished i'll be working on adding other people to the que (pets and groupmembers, possibly raid eventually) then i will work on a seperate window (maybe a seperate mod) to track abilities that I have done.

Every Damage meter i try doesn't record DPS through fights, just per fight basis.(i dont like that)

if your looking for something right now, check out DamageMeters (they work really well)

mine is gonna be a while in the making as im kind of teaching myself most of it, so im spending some time looking stuff up etc.
